The first stage involves the initial growth of the eyelashes and the total period lasts for about seven weeks. Then, the second stage begins. In this stage, eyelashes do not grow at all. On the other hand, the hair follicles begin getting smaller in size. The second stage consumes a period of about three weeks. The last phase, also medically known as the Telogen Growth Phase, is popularly called the resting phase of the hair follicles. This is the final stage for the eyelashes, which begin to fall right after the completion of this stage.

The overall growth of healthy eyelashes also depends on a large number of factors. The diet that any particular person consumes is one of the major factors influencing the growth of eyelashes. People who do not have a regular and proper diet are unlikely to have a healthy growth of hair or eyelashes.

The reason is simple enough. People who do not feed on healthy diet lack the essential nutrients and vitamins that aid in the growth of eyelashes. On the other hand, people who eat a lot of fresh fruits and other nutritious foods show of tendency of quicker and healthier eyelashes. Therefore, you need to ensure that you are on a nutritious diet if you desire to have those amazing eyelashes.
